Two luscious soul/folk/psychedelic funk crossover jams from LA born Shuggie Otis on Epic, reissued and remastered 45 years after their first release.
What’s more, this release contains longer versions of each track in comparison to the original 7″ release from 1974.
Shuggie’s trademark soul-laden tones marry with dusty organs and strutting funk guitars to give two blissful slices of ’70s gold.
The A-side has since been covered by Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings in 2011.
The B-Side was sampled by German HipHop Crew ‘Absolute Beginner’ for the Track ‘Liebeslied’ from the Album ‘Bambule’.
A collectable 7 Inch, remastered, reissued and finally available at a respectful price.
