Description
Two fantastic edits from Chicago based Producer, Remixer and DJ Cratebug. Some may remember Cratebug from the 2 tracks that he produced for the Chicago Service EP on Lumberjacks In Hell. Since then Cratebug has been busy setting up his own label, Bug Records, as well as putting out his tracks on KAT Records, Tugboat, and Grimy Edits.
For this 2nd release on Bug Records Cratebug reworks the grooves of 2 tried and tested Disco classics into modern day dancefloor bangers. First up Black Ivory’s ‘Mainline’, a Buddah Records release from 1979, gets chopped, twisted and tweaked in all the right places to cause mayhem on the dancefloor. On the flipside Cratebug takes the Bruce Johnston classic on a percussive heavy workout that will set any decent club alight. Essential.
