Limited repress of Andres 12″ debut on his own label La Vida. Andres is one that really needs no introduction, but for those unfamiliar here it is: Andres, aka DJ Dez, is one of Detroit’s unsung heros of underground music. Since the late 90’s Andres has built up an extremely respectable catalog of that blurs the boundaries between genres, most notably his records on KDJ and Mahogani Music. Not to forget, DJ Dez is also Slum Village’s DJ, has recorded many hip hop instrumental on Hipnotech Records, and his hand is on countless other Detroit records. Definitely one of the most consistent producers we’ve got here whose music can be summed up in one word: Quality! Originally released in February 2012, the first pressings of this have shifted for £50+ on Discogs. Essential.
