Supported at the time by the likes of Mr Scruff and Quantic, the Preston based duo Phil Carr and Chris Holt aka Two Mellow were producing edits before they were trendy. A local secret weapon of types, when we spotted this in a fellow dealers box we had to snap it up.
The upbeat jazzy Trashman kicks things off in a lively fashion and features Martin Pennington on keys. Flip to ‘Got To Get Ya’ for a Meters inspired funk work out that still fits in the sets and moves the floor to this day. Lastly Mello Mello (Part 1) closes the EP with a sun drenched sound-tracker that reminds us a little of David Axelrod…
