There isn’t much info out there about this new one on Just What The World Needs but suffice it to say it is a two-track 12″ that packs a great punchy. The obscure sounds of ‘track 1’ feature stabbing horns and plenty of freeform jazz energy. The drums shuffle down low as the keys are in constant flux – it’s intoxicating and hypnotic and is a jazz fusion bomb that will please any heady crowd. On the flip is a cover of Donna Summer’s ‘Bad Girls’ that becomes a lively sing-along with the signature stomping funky beats never letting up down low.
We have it on good authority that these edits come from Chicago based record digger and producer Tone B Nimble. The A side is unshazzamble and the B side is an edit of Punto Quatro – Muchachas Malas, as Spanish version of Bad Girls!
