Description

Two great Tom Moulton Mixes back to back!

South Shore Commission were a self contacted soul/funk band from Chicago. They released their one self-titled, Billboard Dance Chart No.1 album in 1975 on Wand Records, from which comes the Bunny Sigler composed/produced track “Free Man” featuring Instant Funk. It was recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. The Tom Moulton mix of “Free Man” was an original feature of the album and is considered one of the first proto-house records. A sure fire Chicago bomb.

Ultra High Frequency “We’re On The Right Track” was co-written and co-produced by Norman Harris. Pure Philly splendor from 1973 and mixed by Tom Moulton. Never previously released before on 12” single.

Tracklist:
A – South Shore Commission – Free Man (Tom Moulton Mix) (7:20)
B – Ultra High Frequency – We’re On The Right Track (Tom Moulton Mix) (5:16)
