Original Flavor originally consisted of Ski aka Ski Beatz (Reasonable Doubt, Camp Lo, Pilot Talk, 24hr Karate School) and Suave Lover and released two albums — This Is How It Is (1992) and Beyond Flavor (1994). On Beyond Flavor, Suave Lover was replaced by T-Strong and DJ Chubby Chub. Their biggest hit “Can I Get Open,” off Beyond Flavor was released in late 1993 and reached #46 on the Billboard chart. The group, managed by Damon Dash and cousin Darien Dash, disbanded after it released Beyond Flavor but Ski went on to work with Roc-A-Fella Records, Camp Lo, Curren$y, Murs and many others.
