Unofficial US pressing of Meli’sa Morgan’s RnB / Modern Soul classic ‘Fools Paradise’ in all it’s glory. Originally released on her Do Me Baby LP in 1986 as a shorter version, here we get both the Extended 12″ Mix and Extended LP Mix, plus the Bonus Paradise mix which seems to be the Singlet Mix.
The singer from Queens, New York began her career in the 70s with Shades Of Love but she owes her success as a singer for her work in High Fashion who recorded the boogie classic Break Up in 1983 among others. Little known fact, the single Do Me Baby was a cover of Prince.
On the B side as a nice addition we have a rare version of The Weather Girls (AKA Izora Armstead and Martha Wash who recorded under the name Two Tons Of Fun and were also Sylvester’s backing singers) which is an extended record pool edit by Mr K (AKA Danny Krivit) from a Disconet Program Service 12″ that did the rounds in 1986.
