For me ‘1044 Coplin (Give You Whatcha Lookin 4)’ by Marcellus Pittman was The standout cut from the recent Moodymann DJ Kicks LP. And it was only available on the CD version. Thankfully Unirhythm have done the right thing and repressed their 3rd release from their Green 7″ series. Originally released in January 2014, the sought after 7″ has been out of circulation for a while. I managed to bag the last few at the distributors so I guess this isn’t going to be around for long. A modern boogie anthem with some Dilla influences on the flip side. Essential.
