Description

Dublin based label Underneath The Orange Tree brings you two highly sought after afro-disco classics released on their Orange Tree Edits white label.

The A side has rhythms blurring the lines between afrobeat and house with a swelling brass section and vocals reminiscent of Fela Kuti. Rumour has it this is a rework of Future Warriors’ Pembe 7″ on Far Out. On the flip is a beefed up over dub edit of a well known afro/synth funk song from 1970s (Pasteur Lappe’s Na Real Sekele Fo Ya). Guaranteed to work on the dancefloor. Don’t sleep!

DJ Support includes MCDE, Hunee, Dimitri From Paris, Mad Matts, Jimpster, Cottam, WOLF MUSIC, Harri, Soul Clap, Axel Boman, J.Roc, Addison Groove, Pariah, Benji B, Catz & Dogz, Eric Duncan, Roy Davis Jnr, Joakim, MJ Cole, Huxley, Chaos In The CBD…
